Wonder if having clear moral directions has made us christians insensitive. When someone has a problem, our immediate reaction is to chastise that person and dictate the proper thing to do.

The thing is, that person already knows all of this, and does not need to be sternly reminded of it. What that person really needs is acceptance and encouragement, not eye-rollings or disapproving frowns. We usually fail to understand that things are really not that easy, and that we too, have our own flaws and weaknesses.

How ironic that in our zeal to follow the Bible's rules, we have neglected the most important law of all.
