I was lol-ing and lolling about as i read The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Sadly, of all the people i showed the book to, only Kelly laughed. Don't ask for her opinion of what this means - you won't like it. Especially if you didn't get the jokes in the book.

Anyway, here's a quote that i found extremely interesting:

'...on the planet Earth man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much - the wheel, New York, wars and so on - whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man - for precisely the same reason.'

Whole-heartedly agreed with the dolphins. It isn't very intelligent to spent your whole life slogging your guts out for some unnecessary achievements when you could just live it peacefully and happily. Take that, NJC!
